afka uses analytics cookies to see how visitors use the site, and a service that can identify the company a visitor works for. We do not sell your data. Decline and none of it loads.
Add afka to a Google Chat space or message it directly, mention afka with a real request, and afka answers in the same thread with the finished work. This page also says what Google data afka keeps, for how long, and how you remove it.
Connect Google Chat Opens afka and starts the Google sign‑in that links your organisation.
You need an afka workspace at app.afka.ai, the owner or admin role in it, and a Google Workspace account. Your Google Workspace administrator can limit which Chat apps people may add; if they do, they allow afka once in the Google Admin console.
afka sees only the messages addressed to it, in spaces it was added to and in direct messages with it. It never reads a space it is not a member of.
| Permission | Why afka needs it |
|---|---|
chat.bot | Receive the messages addressed to afka, answer in the same thread, show approval cards, and download a file you shared with afka. |
chat.app.messages.readonly | Read the public messages of the thread you asked in, so afka answers in context. Used only after your administrator approves it. |
chat.app.spaces.create | Create a space when you ask afka to. Used only after your administrator approves it. |
chat.app.memberships | Add or remove the people you name in a space. Used only after your administrator approves it. |
openid email profile | A one‑time sign‑in that tells afka who is linking and which Google Workspace organisation they belong to. afka revokes it at once and never calls Google with it. |
afka keeps the names and ids of the spaces it was added to, the ids of the people who wrote to it, and each request with its files, as a task in your afka workspace. The answer and any file afka made are kept with the task.
All of it stays in your workspace until you remove afka or delete it. Google data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, never read by a person at afka except as the Privacy Policy allows, and never used to train a model, afka’s or anyone else’s.
To stop afka in one space, remove it from that space in Google Chat. afka forgets the space at once, and seven days later deletes the tasks that came from it, with their answers, files and what afka learned from them. If afka is back in that space before then, nothing is deleted.
To disconnect your whole organisation, open Connectors in afka and press Disconnect on the Google Chat tile. Every space is unlinked at once, and the same deletion follows seven days later.
The audit record and the billing ledger are kept, as the Privacy Policy describes. To delete everything sooner, email support@afka.ai from the owner account and a person closes the workspace for you.
Email support@afka.ai; a person answers within one business day. Include your workspace name and the space the question is about.
